Pregnancy Yoga

Available at Stenson, Darley Abbey, Spondon, Uttoxeter, Hilton and Swadlincote

Pregnancy Yoga classes are an excellent way of better preparing yourself for the birth of your baby as well as helping you to keep active and healthy during your pregnancy. They involve pregnancy yoga, breathing techniques, hynobirthing, education and relaxation. Building muscle memory and practices for birth and beyond.

Class sizes are small, friendly and relaxed, they are the perfect environment to meet other mums too.

No yoga experience needed

Couples Antenatal Classes

Available in Stenson as a small group and 1-1's in your own home

Working as a team.  

Antenatal classes are an excellent way of preparing you and your birth partner for the birth of your baby. They allow you to access advice and information from a trained professional as well as making friends with other parents to be. Classes are informal and provide a positive and fun atmosphere for parents to ask questions, meet people and learn different techniques and methods that will ultimately make pregnancy and the arrival of the baby easier and less stressful.

Mama Blossom is unique, we have weekly antenatal classes with couples due around a similar time. But also have the option of a choice of workshops split into, baby care, breastfeeding, labour/ birth, hypnobirthing you can choose the education that suits you.

Baby Classes

Available in Stenson and Hilton

Classes suitable from newborn and involve baby massage and yoga, alongside gentle postnatal yoga movements and relaxation. Classes are integrated with rhythm and rhyme to give an all round experience for mum and baby together.

Postnatal Classes & Workshops

Postnatal Yoga - A lovely relaxing class for mums to recharge and heal the body and mind. 

Motherhood is a changing journey and classes are built to support this. Classes involve the perfect mix of yoga movement, mindfulness, relaxation, pelvic floor and core exercises. 

Caesarean Recovery Workshops - scar self massage, pelvic floor exercises, core strength work and relaxation to support your recovery.

Aquanatal Yoga

Offering original adaptations of classic yoga practices in water as Aqua Yoga. In water, yoga is made more accessible irrespective of fitness. Aqua Yoga increases mobility for all, whether beginners or advanced yoga practitioners, tentative or confident swimmers. In contrast to other forms of water exercise in which the water is mostly used for resistance, Aqua Yoga fluid moves are based on all the qualities of water.
